I heart Geodes

Quartz Geode – Vntage Queen

Amethyst Geode Paperweight – Vntage Queen

If I could have my house crammed to the hilt with Geodes I would. I love them, no I ADORE them.  When I find one that I have to have, I buy and place them around my home as interesting objects de art in their most natural, precious form. God help me if I ever go to a Mineral show, I don’t think I could ever go to one and not leave with thousands of dollars worth of stones. So I will stay away from them for now, or at least until I buy a bigger home so that I can have a large mineral curio cabinet. Until that day comes I will admire my small collection.

I completely understand and share your passion for minerals and gemstones Andrea :) I too “adore” them and I would love to one day be graced with the opportunity to visit the Tuscan Gem and Mineral Show … that would be awesome!

I would probably either pass out or faint so it’s best that I never set foot in a Mineral show. Ever. lol

LOL I understand Andrea :) Hay, I was wondering … where do you get your gorgeous gemstones that you use in your jewelry? I am particularly curious about your rose cut stones, like the rose cut moissanite and black diamonds you have in rings, but also your very pretty tourmalines? If of course you can reveal such secrets ;)

It’s taken me many years of searching and fostering business relationships to finally get good solid sources that I would never spill the beans. :}

I plan on making a pendant soon with the 4mm size. Just can’t decide between 14k or 18k gold.

Geodes are so intriguing. Like holding the history of the earth in your hand.
