For all of you Bay Area people, be sure to check out the huge Capsule Design Festival this Sunday, May 27th in SF. Over 120 different designers will be there taking up 2 blocks worth of space so do be sure to stop by.

My last little tid bit from that wonderful show is fellow Pleasanton Craft Mafiosa, Leah of Michon Jewelry. She has the most gorgeous and intricate jewelry that looks so complex yet feels like it adds just the right artistic touch. She dabbles in metalwork as well as resin jewelry which is my fave of her jewelry line.. As a former resin artist, I know how hard it is to get crystal clear, bubble free resin for your jewelry and every one of her resin pieces show the work that it takes to reach this level of perfection. What amazes me is the depth…she has nice deep bezels filled with colors and textures that are pleasing to the eye and are more reflective of wearable art.
