First off, I love chocolate and I love different varieties because plain ole chocolate won’t do for me. Raw Chocolate creates a wonderful line of raw, uncooked chocolates and truffles which allow for them to retain the goodness that is generally lost during the cooking process. Cacao in its raw state is considered a superfood and contains over 300 nutritional compounds, wow.
Do yourself a favor and buy uncooked chocolates in their raw state. If you’re going to consume calories then make it really worth your while and eat something that’s actually good for you.
I came across this lovely rhubarb drink recipe today. Doesn’t this look delish?
rhubarb drink with lemon grass and mint
4 large pieces of rhubarb (about 500 grams)
muscovado sugar or plain white (as who likes)
juice and lime zest
2 “shoots” of lemon grass (can also be powdered or dried)
a few mint leaves
around 750 ml water
Sliced the rhubarb into pieces, flooded with water, added sugar and crushed with a knife and peeled the outer skin lemongrass and simmer about 10-13 minutes. Add the zest and juice of lime and mint leaves and ice cubes.
I love a good spot of tea and I drink copious amounts of it daily. I LOVE fruit green teas and I get my fix from buying those from my local Asian Market. I also love Milk Teas which are usually black tea varieties that when milk is added it makes for a “tea latte”. I look forward to my daily cups.
