So I decided after many years of having my current newsletter host to switch to something more user friendly since my old interface was anything but. I decided to move to Mail Chimp. I was browsing around their blog and came across this tutorial that was posted for Etsy artists and I don’t know if this was ever posted on Etsy or not.

I thought that some of you Etsy sellers would actually be able to utilize something like this..and it’s free.

Wordle

As I lay on my couch trying to get over flu like symptoms, I have bouts of restlessness and I find myself drawn to my computer. I ventured over to read some of my daily blog reads and I saw this pretty cool application that Brooke Medlin came across. “This is pretty freakin cool,” is what I said to myself as I played around with many versions of my site layout on the app. I finally settled for a random image that I have to say is pretty cheerful and uses my favorite color…..green.

Stop by Wordle and plug in your blog or Etsy shop to make a colorful and cool piece of computer art. I’d love to see what you come up with.

I tend to switch my desktops quite often. It gives my office a visual pick me up since my monitor is quite visible once the office doors are open. I’ve had this one on my Mac Pro for about 2 months now, which is a stretch for me, but I love it and might keep it for a couple more weeks before I change again.

My favorite source for desktops is Pixel Girl Presents. She has the best selection of artist made images to make any computer monitor “Oh so pretty.”

Ok, this website is not only mesmerizing but my daughter and I can’t seem to look away for at least a good 10 minutes. The music is catchy and makes you tap your toes.
