Ok, so ever since the day I decided to wean myself off of Typepad completely, I have not been able to create a gift guide like I did for Valentines Day. I was so proud of my first gift guide but when I did the switch, let’s just say WordPress is a bear to work through and I simply don’t have the time.

I used to create websites using HTML and I was pretty good at it but after 3 years of no action I’m very, very rusty. I went to the WordPress site to see if maybe, just maybe I could figure out how to modify a template enough to get the backgrounds and headers that I want but it was to much for me to get into so I decided to dust off the cobwebs in my head in regards to html and get to it.

Needless to say I used to create sites on Dreamweaver 8 3 years ago, so I’m onto Dreamweaver CS3 which is a bit different to say the least. I managed though it and it ended up taking more time to come up with a color theme than it did to create the guide itself.

I’m a tad rusty but the hard part is over. {yay} What do you think?

I’ll be adding more wonderful goodies daily so keep checking to see if you’re in the guide.
